Colors & Inspiration

So exciting. BLUEPRINT. The portal terms itself as "representing the best of emerging fashion in one place". It has gathered many up-and-coming designers from around the region, and brought them and their wares into one venue for buyers and consumers to get up close and personal with. :) Plenty to see, touch and feel. The tradeshow is happening right now, and the emporium that is open to the public is held this weekend.

I like the design philosophy of Yeojin Bae, but perhaps not this season's collection of flouncy florals in 'YB J'aime'. I like her structured solids much better. A couple of my favorite Singapore designers are there too. Good to know that I can always grab their designs, outside of the tradeshow and the upcoming emporium. No opportunity to really stop at each label. A quick browse sufficed. That threw up many fascinating items worth lingering over. Then it was back to attending to work matters at hand.
