Took the man's father out to his birthday dinner at Cocotte. Otherwise, the parentals would never venture to restaurants like this (i.e in heritage shophouses or un-traditional in their world view). Made prior arrangements with the restaurant and it was a smooth affair.
There were wonderfully grilled dishes of fish and chicken. Think the parentals enjoyed it. They ate loads. It was a lovely meal.
