Carbs and spices galore. Mmmm. Can't quite go without them. Had to have the egg appam, paratha, and puttu. I love my appam to come with an egg, and also, savory puttu. Couldn't quite order these extras if we didn't have help with stomach space! Ladled delicious curries on the carbs. It's the best way to eat them all.
Since there were plenty of other dishes, we prudently ordered only two sets of vegetarian thali to share. The portions of brown rice, coupled with the rest of the carbs, were more than sufficient for four stomachs. It'd be such a waste to have so much leftovers on the table. We were properly stuffed.
