Choya + Missy at Botanics

Schools are out on a term break, and it was time to meet Missy and Y! Lockdowns and crazy WFH schedules meant that we hadn't seen one another for many months. Day meets are always good for us, and I was thrilled they could do an early morning walk + coffee, and Choya could come along too. In this season, I've come to prefer meeting friends in the mornings or at lunches over dinners or in the nights.

Of course Choya remembers Y and Missy. The little dog loves Missy, and was happy to be walked by her. She obediently trotted along, and only stopped to sniff fun stuff, and Missy let her. Next year, Missy will be a lil'Missy no more; she's inching towards being a total young lady. I've missed chatting with this little one. Ahhh... she's clearly flourishing in the IB program at school.

Botanics is the natural and convenient venue to meet. On this hot morning, we stopped by Bee's Knees for refreshments. After a week of unpredictable weather and crazy thunderstorms, we were thankful for hot and good weather for half the day. Walking at the Botanics in the mornings almost always guarantees plenty of pees and a good poop. Choya loves the greenery and the smells in the parks. A stroll through the Botanics is always balm to our souls too.
